Donor Oocyte Program

At Cooper Institute for Reproductive Hormonal Disorders we offer years of experience coupled with high success for all types of infertility.

Led by Jerome H. Check MD, Ph.D., who has over twenty five years of experience in the field of infertility, our program began in 1988 at our Melrose Park, PA office. In September 1990, we opened a new state of the art IVF laboratory in Marlton, NJ and in November 1991, we merged our two In-Vitro Fertilization programs to form the Cooper Institute for Reproductive Hormonal Disorders, P.C. The Cooper Institute for Reproductive Hormonal Disorders is affiliated with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Camden and has been a member of The Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology, (SART), since 1989.

We perform approximately 1000 In Vitro egg retrievals per year and are considered one of the largest IVF programs in the United States. The Cooper Institute for Reproductive Hormonal Disorders was one of the first centers in the world to offer a shared oocyte program in which a woman in need of IVF can share half of her oocytes with another woman in exchange for almost entirely free IVF services.

Aside from the personal, high quality care patients receive at the Cooper Institute for Reproductive Hormonal Disorders what makes our center very appealing to our patients is our success rates and affordability. Our doctors have always been dedicated to providing the highest quality care while making it affordable to anyone who requires our services. For this reason, Cooper Institute is one of the most affordable IVF centers in the country, while maintaining one of the highest pregnancy rates per transfer (currently about a 50% success rate).

The physicians in our practice are medical and reproductive endocrinologists and gynecologists, all dedicated to helping patients with problems achieving pregnancy. Our team is also comprised of nurses, embryologists, andrologists, ultrasonographers, medical technologists, and researchers, all with expertise in the field of infertility.

Though our practice is well known for its dedication to infertility, we also treat other problems in reproductive endocrinology, e.g., women with no periods (amenorrhea) or women bleeding too much or having severe pain with menstruation (e.g. endometriosis) and menopause; along with other endocrine problems, e.g. thyroid, pituitary and adrenal (excluding diabetes). For men we not only treat subnormal semen specimens but also sexual problems related to hormonal disorders.
